Here is why I volunteer at the Animal Shelter:
I volunteer at the Animal Shelter because like humans dogs and cats have their own distinct personalities. The animals at the Shelter are in transition either from a loving home that can no longer care for them or from an abusive or neglected situation. My hope is by giving these dogs and cats some love and attention it will provide some comfort during their time waiting to be adopted into a new home.
