Hi everyone, I’m Willow! You may recognize me from my brother (Stuart) and I’s September Pet of the Week feature, but this one is just about ME (well, sorta)! Why, you ask? Well, here’s the thing: Stuart and I have lived together for many years, we came to the shelter together, and while we ideally want to go to our next home as a pair, we have come to terms with the fact that that just might not be in the cards for us; that maybe we’d each have a better chance of getting out of the shelter life if we’re willing to go our separate ways in this next stage of our lives. With the help of APS-FH’s Adoption Team (they’ve always had our best interest at heart & were there for all these tough conversations; “Shelter Therapists”, if you will), we’ve made this decision together and feel good about it! Maybe Stuart and I will get adopted together in the end, but in the meantime, I’m ready to put myself out there solo. It’s just me, Willow. Although I am small in stature, I have an enormous amount of love to give; now all I need is to find my person(s), so that the lovefest can officially begin! Could you be them? The Adoption Team is waiting for your application, and I can’t wait to meet you!
