My Dearest Susie,
Thank you so much for being the person that you are. You bring so much joy into my life that it makes the time waiting for my future home much more enjoyable, and I always look forward to our weekly special visits. I’m told by the shelter staff that not only are you loved by me, but all the animals that you give attention to (I’d like to think I’m your favorite though).
I have the honor of writing to you today to let you know that you’ve been selected by the staff and pets of the shelter as Volunteer of the Month for February. Susie, I just wanted to let you know that I love you so much and you are so appreciated. Your infectious smile and positive spirit are contagious, and you bring so much enrichment to our lives here at the shelter.
