Hey, I’m Magnus. I’m a purebred Old English Bulldogge, but I’m no “bully”! I’ve heard those mean stereotypes that some people say about us bully breeds. And as any underdog like me will tell you, it’s not easy being looked at, and immediately labeled. It’s not for the weak of heart; it hurts, and gives a guy like me thick skin. But as much as it may hurt me, I never let it change who I am. I don’t let their words define me. Only I, Magnus, can define me. As you’ll come to learn when you meet me, this “Magnus the Bulldogge definition” includes things like: top-tier cuddler, rambunctious goofball, adorably slobbery, perfect play buddy, and more!
Another thing that I haven’t let their hurtful words do, is change how I view people. It could be easy to assume that all are capable of the hurt of a few, but I know that’s not true. I know that most people are good, and most don’t judge a dog by its breed. And I choose to believe, and hold on to the hope, that one of those good people will walk through the doors of APS-FH and fall in love with me, Magnus the Bulldogge, for all that I am!
