Most of the dogs and cats that I have owned have come from shelters. I firmly believe in the importance of animal adoption; the need is undoubtedly great. The staff here at our shelter are welcoming, knowledgeable, and very caring. They are strong advocates for each cat and dog and work diligently to match them with the best forever homes available. Animals who end up here are lucky. While I have not been a volunteer for very long, it never ceases to amaze me how fast our dogs and cats find homes. It just makes me smile!
