My teeth were worn down from eating rocks and my joints were riddled with arthritis from years of standing and walking on cement. The staff and volunteers immediately fell in love with my sweet, gentle nature. I asked for nothing more than love and a soft bed to sleep in. Then a wonderful couple from Gig Harbor saw my profile on Petfinder and drove all the way to Friday Harbor to meet me. I have special needs which didn’t deter them from falling in love and adopting me that same day. My worries are over now. I am finally a cherished family member for the first time in my life.
