Carolyn joined the APS-FH Board in 2014. She was elected Board President in 2016 and re-elected for a second term. In addition, she was co-chair of the New Home/New Hope Capital Campaign Committee. Carolyn retired in 2008 from 40 years as a public school educator (elementary school classroom teacher, district coordinator of professional development, elementary school principal and district superintendent). She earned her Bachelor and Master degrees in Elementary Education from Stanford University and her Doctorate in Education Policy Planning Administration from University of Southern California.
